The Many Ways to Smile
In the last article we explored a simple technique that allows one to make art, or do any kind of work in a way that maintains health and happiness a bit better, by using a different perspective on the motivation to create and produce.
We looked at how using health and happiness as the starting point for one’s activities can lead to a very different experience and result.
One of the key tools for this perspective, this way of doing things, is starting one’s activities with a conscious decision to smile and be happy.
Smiling uplifts one’s mental state, and an uplifted mind has many benefits.

❥ A chara: friend. In Irish, one of the most basic terms used in everything, from formal letter salutations to greeting cards.
❥ A mhac: literally means “son”, but is used where an English speaker might say “mate” or “dude”.
❥ Mo stór, mo stóirín: Literally “my treasure”, "my little treasure".
❥ Mo thaisce: Also “my treasure”.
